Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)
Manual therapy and a structured mobility programme restored shoulder movement and ended months of night pain.
The patient had a painful, stiff shoulder for several months, with severe restriction reaching overhead and disturbed sleep due to night pain.
Treatment included graded joint mobilisations, a progressive stretching and strengthening programme, and pain-management education to support recovery through the stages of frozen shoulder.
Night pain settled within the first few weeks, and range of movement improved steadily with consistent home exercises.
The patient regained near-full shoulder movement, returned to dressing and overhead tasks without difficulty, and was sleeping comfortably again.
