We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Bingham is a market town in the Rushcliffe borough of Nottinghamshire, east of Nottingham on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir. The octagonal Buttercross in the Market Place, built in 1861, is its best-known landmark.
All Saints Church, with its tall spire, and the Thursday market give the centre a lively feel. Bingham Linear Park, created along a disused railway line, offers a flat, green walking route around the town.
The town has grown considerably, with large new estates to the north joining older streets of red-brick cottages and terraces. New homes often have steep stairs, while many older residents live in bungalows.
NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board commissions care. Bingham patients are usually treated at Queen's Medical Centre or Nottingham City Hospital, and we provide private physiotherapy at home after discharge.
Bingham station is on the Nottingham to Grantham line, and buses run regularly into Nottingham. Many patients aim to catch the train or bus again.
Typical goals include walking to the Market Place and Buttercross, around the Linear Park or to the leisure centre.
The Bingham Arena leisure centre, the library and the Banks Road shops are other places people want to reach. Aslockton and Whatton, along the River Smite, have quiet lanes that suit gentle walks. The octagonal Buttercross in the Market Place, the Thursday market and the railway station on the Nottingham to Grantham line are everyday landmarks, and the old railway path towards Newton gives a flat, traffic-free route. The surrounding villages of Radcliffe on Trent, Whatton and Aslockton bring their own practical challenges, such as unlit village roads, narrow cottage stairs and longer walks to the nearest bus stop, and home programmes are shaped around them.
