Physiotherapy Services in Caernarfon
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Caernarfon premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Caernarfon is a royal town on the Menai Strait in Gwynedd, dominated by the castle Edward I began in 1283, now a World Heritage Site. It has one of the highest proportions of Welsh speakers of any town in Wales, and everyday life here is conducted largely in Welsh. The square, Y Maes, sits beside the castle walls, and the old walled town spreads out behind it.
Inside the walls, the streets are narrow and many houses are tall terraces with steep stairs. Twthill rises sharply above the town, while Maesincla and Ysgubor Goch have post-war council housing and Peblig and Llanbeblig mix older terraces with newer homes. The Roman fort of Segontium lies on the hill on the eastern side of town.
The waterfront by the castle and Victoria Dock, home to the Galeri arts centre, gives level walking, and Lôn Las Menai and Lôn Eifion, cycle and walking paths on old railway lines, provide longer routes. The Welsh Highland Railway runs from Caernarfon to Porthmadog through Snowdonia. There is no mainline station, so buses to Bangor connect with trains.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board provides hospital care, with Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor as the main acute hospital. Our physiotherapists visit independently, and we can arrange a Welsh-speaking therapist where one is available.

Safe, structured recovery after surgery to restore strength, mobility and function at home.

Expert assessment and treatment of muscle, joint, bone and soft tissue (MSK) conditions at home.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.
