Physiotherapy Services in Chorleywood
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Chorleywood premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Chorleywood is a village in the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire, close to the Buckinghamshire border. Its large Common, with woodland, grassland and a cricket pitch, is at the heart of village life and is protected as a nature reserve.
The arrival of the Metropolitan line in the late nineteenth century turned Chorleywood into a Metroland suburb, and the station still links the village to London. The Chiltern Railways service also stops here, making travel easy.
Chorleywood House Estate, with its parkland, woodland paths and meadows, is a popular place to walk. Some paths are level and firm, while others are steeper and rooty, so we help people choose suitable routes at each stage.
Housing includes Arts and Crafts houses, interwar Metroland homes and large modern properties, often on sloping plots. We frequently help people with stairs, steep drives and getting in and out of the car safely.
Chorleywood falls within NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board. Residents are usually treated at Watford General Hospital, and after discharge we can continue rehabilitation privately at home.
The village shops and cafés cluster near the station and along Lower Road, which makes a trip to the shops a realistic early goal. The walk back up from the station can be steep, so we practise slopes as part of the plan.
The Chess Valley lies just to the north, with footpaths beside the river towards Chenies and Latimer. These routes can be muddy and uneven and are best saved for later in recovery.
Heronsgate, with its history as a Chartist settlement, has quiet lanes without pavements, so we prepare people for verges and uneven ground.

Expert assessment and treatment of muscle, joint, bone and soft tissue (MSK) conditions at home.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.

Rehabilitation of bones, joints, muscles and ligaments following injury, surgery or degenerative change.
