Physiotherapy Services in Connah's Quay
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Connah's Quay premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Connah's Quay is the largest town in Flintshire, on the south bank of the Dee estuary. It grew as a port and later around nearby steelworks and power stations.
The High Street and Golftyn Lane have local shops and are fairly level. A walk to the shops and back is a realistic first target.
Wepre Park has a visitor centre, woodland paths and the ruins of Ewloe Castle. The lower paths near the visitor centre are fairly level, while the woodland trails are steeper.
The old dock on the Dee gives open views across the estuary, and the Wales Coast Path passes nearby. Its level sections are well suited to building stamina.
Connah's Quay is covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Most surgery is at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, though some Deeside residents go to the Countess of Chester Hospital just over the border.
Homes include terraces, semis and newer estates. We adapt exercises to your stairs and garden steps.
Every plan has indoor exercises for wet or windy days.
The Flintshire Bridge across the Dee and the long-standing Deeside industrial park are well-known landmarks, with the Airbus factory at Broughton nearby. Many residents work locally and want to return to factory or office routines. Coleg Cambria has a campus in the town, and Connah's Quay Nomads play football at the Deeside Stadium. Buses run to Chester and Mold, so practising the step on and off a bus is often part of our plan. The Golftyn area has local shops and a library, and walking there independently is a realistic aim. Northop, a short drive away, has a golf course and quiet lanes for later outings, and Flint Castle sits on the estuary to the west.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.
