Physiotherapy Services in Cullen
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Cullen premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Cullen is a small town on the Moray Firth, best known as the home of Cullen skink, a smoked haddock soup. Old railway viaducts curve high above the streets, giving the town a striking look.
The Seatown, by the harbour, is a cluster of fishermen's cottages set gable-end to the sea. The streets are flat and compact for short walks.
Cullen Bay has a sandy beach and links golf course, with rock stacks known as the Three Kings. The beach is a lovely but challenging surface for balance practice.
The upper town has a square, shops and cafes. The climb between the Seatown and the square is steep, giving a useful later target.
NHS Grampian serves the area. Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin handles much local care, while major surgery may be at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Homes include fishermen's cottages with steep stairs and newer houses up the hill. Assessing stairs and access is a key part of visits.
The Moray Coastal Trail passes through and offers longer goals for later recovery.
Cullen Old Kirk, beside the former Seafield estate, includes a laird's loft and medieval tombs, and the surrounding grounds are peaceful for a slow wander. Portknockie's Bow Fiddle Rock, a quartzite arch, sits a short drive west and has a clifftop viewpoint near the car park. Locals queue for skink at cafes in the square during summer, and standing patiently in a queue is itself useful endurance training. Ice cream parlours and the antiques shops add other incentives.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Helping people living with persistent or complex pain improve function and quality of life.

Specialist care for women through pregnancy, after birth and beyond.
