Physiotherapy Services in Cullompton
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Cullompton premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Cullompton is a small market town in Mid Devon, lying in the valley of the River Culm with the M5 running along its eastern side. Its long Fore Street follows the line of the old coaching road between Exeter and Taunton.
St Andrew's church, with its richly carved Lane aisle paid for by a sixteenth-century wool merchant, is one of the finest parish churches in Devon. Its red sandstone tower is the most familiar landmark in town.
Fore Street holds the shops, pubs and cafes, along with several old merchants' houses. It is fairly flat, which makes it a good route for walking practice once someone is ready to leave home on foot.
Cullompton is covered by NHS Devon Integrated Care Board. People are usually treated at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Wonford, and our private visits can continue rehabilitation after a stay there.
The town has grown quickly, with large new estates on its northern and western edges. Modern homes are easier to adapt, while older cottages in the centre often have steep stairs and small bathrooms.
The Culm valley and the CCA Fields by the river offer open, level ground for outdoor walks. Willand, to the north, and Bradninch, to the south, are close neighbours with their own village centres.
Junction 28 of the M5 is right by the town, and most people get around by car or bus. Car transfers and walking safely through supermarket car parks are often included in our sessions.

Reducing the risk of falls and improving safe, confident movement at home and in the community.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
