Physiotherapy Services in Middleton
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Middleton premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Middleton is a town in the Rochdale borough of Greater Manchester, a few miles north of Manchester city centre. Its old core around St Leonard's Church sits on a hill above the shopping centre and bus station, while the Middleton Arena hosts leisure and community events next to the centre. The walk between the church area and the shops involves a noticeable slope.
Much of Middleton's housing was built in the twentieth century. Langley, to the north, is a large overspill estate built for Manchester families in the 1950s and 1960s, with houses, maisonettes and low-rise flats. Alkrington has more interwar and post-war semis and quiet avenues, and Rhodes and Boarshaw mix older terraces with newer homes. Those different layouts change what we practise first.
Popular goals include walking to the bus station, managing a trip into Manchester or Rochdale, or getting round Alkrington Woods and Jubilee Park. Mills Hill station, on the town's edge, has trains to Manchester Victoria and Rochdale. The Rochdale Canal also passes close by, with level towpath walks once outdoor confidence is building.
Depending on your address, hospital care may come from the Royal Oldham Hospital, North Manchester General Hospital or Fairfield General in Bury. NHS services are planned by NHS Greater Manchester, the Integrated Care Board for the area. Our physiotherapists are independent, so share any exercise plans or precautions you were given and we will fit our sessions around them.
