Physiotherapy Services in Reigate
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Reigate premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Reigate is a market town in Surrey at the foot of the North Downs. Its historic High Street, Bell Street and Church Street are full of independent shops, cafés and restaurants, and the Old Town Hall, built in 1728, stands at the eastern end.
Priory Park, once part of a medieval priory estate, has a lake, formal gardens, a café and wide, mostly level paths, making it a favourite for rehabilitation walks. The castle grounds hold the entrance to the Barons' Cave, a tunnel cut into the sandstone beneath the old castle site.
Reigate Hill and Colley Hill offer sweeping views across the Weald from the North Downs Way, and Reigate Heath has an unusual windmill that has been used as a chapel. These higher routes give patients a challenging goal once their strength and stamina have returned.
Housing includes Victorian villas, Edwardian semis, post-war estates in Woodhatch and South Park, and modern flats near the stations. Many properties are on slopes, and steep driveways or stairs often come up during rehabilitation sessions.
NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board plans local care, and most Reigate residents are treated at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. Our home physiotherapy continues recovery after patients leave hospital.
Goals include walking round Priory Park, shopping on the High Street or getting back up Reigate Hill.
Reigate's Harlequin Theatre in Redhill, the Belfry shopping centre and the cafés of Bell Street are everyday destinations for local patients. Earlswood Common, with its lakes and grassland between Redhill and Woodhatch, gives flat circuits, and Gatton Park, once owned by Sir Jeremiah Colman of mustard fame, opens its Capability Brown landscape on selected days. Many people also want confidence on the busy A25 crossings and the short but sharp climb up London Road from the town centre.

Reducing the risk of falls and improving safe, confident movement at home and in the community.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
