Rugby is a market town in eastern Warwickshire, famous as the birthplace of the game that bears its name at Rugby School. The town centre around the clock tower and the shopping streets is compact and mostly level. Rugby station is on the West Coast Main Line, with fast trains to London and Birmingham.
Homes include Victorian terraces near the centre and Newbold, inter-war and post-war semis in Bilton and Hillmorton, estates at Brownsover and Overslade, and large new developments at Cawston and Houlton. New-build homes often have compact stairs and open-plan living spaces. We adapt our sessions to the space and stairs of your home.
Caldecott Park, close to the centre, has level paths and gardens, and the Oxford Canal runs past Hillmorton and Newbold with a flat towpath. Swift Valley Nature Reserve and Draycote Water offer longer walks. Goals often include walking into town, managing the train, or walking a stretch of the canal again.
