Physiotherapy Services in Tring
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Tring premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Tring is a small market town in west Hertfordshire, tucked against the Chiltern Hills. The Natural History Museum at Tring, founded by Walter Rothschild, holds his remarkable collection of mounted animals and remains a favourite day out.
Tring Park rises steeply behind the town, with avenues of trees and views across the Vale of Aylesbury. The Ridgeway national trail passes nearby, so many active residents want to return to hill walking after injury.
To the north, Tring Reservoirs were built to feed the Grand Union Canal at its summit. The banks around Wilstone and Startops End have firm paths and birdwatching hides, offering gentle, level walking.
Homes in the centre include Victorian terraces and older cottages, while newer estates spread towards the bypass. Hillside properties at Wigginton and Aldbury often have steep gardens and steps, which we factor into our plans.
Tring comes under NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board. Patients are commonly treated at Watford General Hospital, and we can continue their rehabilitation privately once they are home.
Tring station sits out to the east of the town, close to Aldbury, so many people rely on buses or lifts. Being able to drive again or walk to the High Street shops is a frequent target.
In Long Marston, New Mill and Little Tring, the land is flatter, which helps with early outdoor practice on pavements and quiet lanes.
The canal towpath near Bulbourne is level and peaceful, a useful step before taking on the Chiltern slopes.

Safe, structured recovery after surgery to restore strength, mobility and function at home.

Expert assessment and treatment of muscle, joint, bone and soft tissue (MSK) conditions at home.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.
