Physiotherapy Services in Wokingham
Home Physio And Rehab is based in Harrow, north-west London, and has no clinic or office in Wokingham. Every appointment is a home visit, and the physiotherapist who visits you may be based elsewhere and travel to your home. Whether we can see you depends on your postcode and on therapist availability at the time you ask.
Wokingham is a historic market town in Berkshire, with a triangular Market Place, an Italianate town hall and many old buildings in its compact centre. The surrounding area is semi-rural, with woods, heathland and lakes. The centre has been redeveloped in recent years, with Elms Field park beside the new shops.
Homes include older cottages and terraces near the centre, post-war and modern estates at Woosehill and Emmbrook, and very large new developments at Arborfield Green and Shinfield. Many new-build homes have compact, steep staircases and open-plan ground floors. We plan our sessions around the layout of each home.
Elms Field has level paths near the shops, Dinton Pastures Country Park near Winnersh has flat lakeside walks, and the woods at California Country Park and Finchampstead Ridges offer longer outings. Wokingham station has trains to Reading and London. Goals often include walking into town or around a lake again.
Most acute hospital care for Wokingham is at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, with some services at Wokingham Community Hospital. We are independent of the NHS, so please share your discharge summary and any precautions. We then design exercises around your recovery.
Wokingham is a Berkshire market town with a historic Market Place, a Victorian town hall and narrow streets of old buildings. Dinton Pastures Country Park, towards Winnersh, has lakes and flat paths. Many homes are in newer neighbourhoods such as Woosehill, Emmbrook and Arborfield Green. Clients often want to walk around the lakes or along Peach Street again, and we set clear stages towards those goals. California Country Park, south of town, has a lake and boardwalks through wetland, and Elms Field, beside the centre, has a play area and level grass.
