Physiotherapy Services in Bilston
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Bilston premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Bilston is a historic Black Country town within the City of Wolverhampton. It made its name through iron, coal and steelmaking, and it was famous for enamelled boxes, the decorative trinkets known as Bilston enamels. The great steelworks closed in 1979, and the town has spent decades reinventing itself.
Bilston Market, with its indoor and outdoor stalls, is still one of the busiest in the area, and the town centre around Church Street and Lichfield Street holds most of the shops. Hickman Park, close to the centre, has flat paths and is popular with older residents. The Robin 2 music venue brings in visitors from across the region.
Housing includes Victorian terraces near the centre and large council estates at Stowlawn, Ladymoor and Bradley, along with newer homes on former industrial land. Many patients are older residents who have lived here all their lives, and stairs in terraced houses are a frequent focus after surgery.
Black Country Integrated Care Board plans NHS care in Wolverhampton, and most Bilston patients are treated at New Cross Hospital. Our private home physiotherapy helps continue recovery after discharge, working alongside any community care.
The West Midlands Metro runs through Bilston on its route between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, so practising the tram is a common goal. Others want to walk to the market, get to church or the social club, or take a grandchild to Hickman Park again.

Reducing the risk of falls and improving safe, confident movement at home and in the community.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
