We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Buckingham premises to walk into. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Buckingham is a small market town in north Buckinghamshire, set in a loop of the River Great Ouse. It gave its name to the county, though the county town later moved to Aylesbury. The Old Gaol, built in the eighteenth century in the middle of Market Hill, now houses a museum, and the Chantry Chapel is one of the oldest buildings in the town.
The University of Buckingham, founded in 1976 as Britain’s first private university, has buildings across the town, and students add life to the cafés and pubs. Stowe, with its famous landscaped gardens run by the National Trust, lies just north of Buckingham, and its wide paths and lakes make a good outing for those well on in recovery.
The town centre around Market Hill, West Street and the High Street is compact and fairly level, though Market Hill itself slopes. Riverside paths along the Great Ouse are gentle. Buckingham has no railway, so buses to Milton Keynes and Aylesbury are important, especially for older residents. Newer estates at Lace Hill and Page Hill are on the edges of town.
Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board plans local NHS care. Many residents are treated at Stoke Mandeville in Aylesbury or Milton Keynes University Hospital, with some services at Buckingham Community Hospital. Our private home physiotherapy fits around that care.
Typical goals include walking to Market Hill, browsing the Saturday market, visiting Stowe or catching the bus to Milton Keynes. We focus on stamina, slopes and getting in and out of the car.

Reducing the risk of falls and improving safe, confident movement at home and in the community.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
