Physiotherapy Services in Cirencester
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Cirencester premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Cirencester calls itself the Capital of the Cotswolds. Under the Romans it was Corinium, the second largest town in Britain, and the Corinium Museum on Park Street displays mosaics, tombstones and everyday objects dug up beneath the modern streets. The grassy bowl of the Roman amphitheatre survives off Cotswold Avenue.
The parish church of St John Baptist, one of England's grandest wool churches, towers over the Market Place, with its elaborate three-storey south porch once used as the town hall. Monday and Friday markets fill the square, and the Corn Hall hosts craft and antiques fairs.
Cirencester Park, owned by the Bathurst family, opens its long Broad Avenue to walkers, and the mansion sits behind one of the tallest yew hedges in the world. The Abbey Grounds, beside the Churn, offer a lake, ducks and level paths that are ideal for early outdoor sessions.
Homes range from honey-coloured stone cottages on Cecily Hill and Dollar Street to Victorian terraces in Watermoor, post-war Chesterton and the newer Kingshill Meadow development. The Royal Agricultural University on the Tetbury Road brings a younger population alongside many long-retired residents.
NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board plans care here. Cirencester Hospital provides community beds and minor injuries, while most surgery happens at Gloucestershire Royal, Cheltenham General or Great Western Hospital in Swindon. We continue rehabilitation in the patient's own home.
Popular targets include the Friday market, a circuit of the Abbey Grounds lake, or the Broad Avenue as far as the polo ground.

Rehabilitation of bones, joints, muscles and ligaments following injury, surgery or degenerative change.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Helping people living with persistent or complex pain improve function and quality of life.
