Physiotherapy Services in Dorking
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Dorking premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Dorking is a market town in Mole Valley, Surrey, set in a gap in the North Downs where the River Mole cuts through the chalk. Its High Street, West Street and South Street are known for antique shops, old coaching inns and independent cafés.
Box Hill, one of the best-known viewpoints in south-east England, rises just to the north, and Denbies Wine Estate, among the largest vineyards in the country, covers the slopes to the north-west. Ranmore Common and Leith Hill are popular further afield.
Meadowbank, a park with a millpond beside the Pippbrook, offers a level loop near the centre. Many of Dorking's streets slope, however, and walking back up from the town can be tiring after illness.
Homes include period cottages, Victorian villas, post-war estates and modern flats. Hillside houses often have steps to the door and steep gardens.
NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board commissions care. Dorking patients are usually treated at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill or Epsom Hospital, and Dorking Community Hospital provides some local services. Our private physiotherapy is delivered at home afterwards.
Dorking has three stations with trains to London and Guildford. Goals include walking the High Street, enjoying Meadowbank or returning to the Downs.
The Dorking Museum on West Street, the Friday market in St Martin's Walk and the Dorking Halls cinema are other regular destinations, and the riverside path at Pixham Lane gives a flatter alternative to the hills.

Reducing the risk of falls and improving safe, confident movement at home and in the community.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
