Physiotherapy Services in Fareham
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Fareham premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Fareham is a market town in south Hampshire, at the head of Fareham Creek and between Portsmouth and Southampton. The pedestrianised West Street is the main shopping area, and the High Street to the north has many Georgian buildings. The centre is fairly level, though the walk from the railway station up to West Street involves a gentle slope.
Much of the borough is suburban. Locks Heath, Park Gate and Sarisbury to the west are largely 1970s and 1980s estates with family homes and bungalows. Stubbington and Hill Head near the coast have many bungalows and a large retired population, and Portchester to the east has a mix of interwar and post-war homes. Welborne, a new town north of the M27, is being built in phases.
Portchester Castle, with its Roman walls on the edge of the harbour, is a popular walking goal, as is the level shoreline path at Hill Head and the Titchfield Haven nature reserve. Closer to home, Holly Hill Woodland Park and the paths around Fareham Creek give shorter options. Fareham station has trains to Southampton, Portsmouth and London.
Hospital care is provided mainly by Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham, with some services at Fareham Community Hospital and Southampton General Hospital. NHS services are planned by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board. Our home visits are independent of the NHS, so we welcome discharge letters and can work around any community rehabilitation already in place.

Reducing the risk of falls and improving safe, confident movement at home and in the community.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
