Physiotherapy Services in Linlithgow
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Linlithgow premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Linlithgow is a historic royal burgh in West Lothian, between Edinburgh and Falkirk. Its magnificent ruined palace, overlooking Linlithgow Loch, was a favourite residence of the Stewart kings and the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots, in 1542.
St Michael's Parish Church, beside the palace, is crowned by a striking modern aluminium spire that divides local opinion. The High Street has a fine fountain at the Cross, and the Linlithgow Marches each June sees riders and processions beat the town's boundaries.
A level path circles the loch, offering views of the palace, swans and birdlife, and it is ideal for gradual walking practice. The Union Canal passes along the south side of town, with a canal centre, boat trips and a flat towpath towards Edinburgh and Falkirk.
Housing includes stone townhouses on the High Street, Victorian villas, post-war council homes and modern estates. Many residents commute to Edinburgh or Glasgow, while others have lived here all their lives.
NHS Lothian provides local health services, and most Linlithgow patients are treated at St John's Hospital in Livingston. Our home physiotherapy continues rehabilitation locally.
Goals include walking round the loch, joining the Marches or strolling along the canal again.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.

Personalised, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic support delivered in the comfort of your home by an HCPC-registered dietitian.
