Physiotherapy Services in Royal Sutton Coldfield
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Royal Sutton Coldfield premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Royal Sutton Coldfield sits in the far north of the City of Birmingham, although many residents still think of it as a separate town. It regained the royal prefix in 2015, and its centre around the Parade and the Gracechurch Centre has a busy, suburban feel quite different from central Birmingham.
Four Oaks and Little Aston have large detached houses on quiet roads, Boldmere and Wylde Green have Edwardian and inter-war semis, and Walmley and Falcon Lodge include post-war estates and newer cul-de-sacs. A large share of residents are over 65, and many live in bungalows or retirement apartments around Mere Green.
Sutton Park covers more than 2,000 acres of heath, woodland and pools, and its surfaced roads near Boldmere Gate and Town Gate are a natural first target. Wyndley Pool and Blackroot Pool offer level stretches with benches, and the rougher tracks deeper into the park suit those preparing for longer country walks.
Good Hope Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, is the local hospital for most of the town, and many residents return home from there after joint surgery or a fall. NHS services are planned by the Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board. We are a private service and independent of these organisations.
The Cross City line runs from Four Oaks and Sutton Coldfield stations into Birmingham, and the Boldmere Road shops are a frequent short-walk goal. Because so many homes here have several steps at the porch or a long sloping drive, we often start sessions right at the front door.
