We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Waltham Abbey is a historic market town in the Epping Forest district of Essex, close to the M25 and the Hertfordshire border. The Abbey Church of Waltham Holy Cross, said to be the burial place of King Harold, dominates the town centre.
The market place and Sun Street are the heart of the town, with a market held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Abbey Gardens, around the church, offers peaceful paths and seating.
The Lee Valley Regional Park runs along the western side of town, with flat riverside and lakeside paths. To the east lies Epping Forest, while the Royal Gunpowder Mills, once a major explosives factory, is now a heritage site.
Homes include older houses near the centre, large post-war estates such as Ninefields and Honey Lane, and more rural properties in Upshire and Sewardstone. Many have stairs and some have steep front paths.
Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board commissions local NHS care. Most Waltham Abbey residents are treated at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, and we offer private sessions at home afterwards.
Waltham Cross station is just over the border, and buses connect the town to Harlow, Loughton and Cheshunt. Typical goals include walking to the market or around the abbey grounds.
Cornmill Meadows and the old Cornmill Stream by the abbey give a short, peaceful loop, and the Tuesday market is a popular reason to get back into the centre.

Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor to support bladder, bowel and core function.

Supporting people living with or recovering from cancer to rebuild strength and quality of life.
