Physiotherapy Services in Watton
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Watton premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Watton is a small market town in the Breckland district of Norfolk, roughly halfway between Swaffham and Attleborough. Its distinctive clock tower, dating from 1679, rises from the centre of the High Street, the best-known landmark in Watton.
Just south of the town lies Wayland Wood, an ancient woodland linked with the folk tale of the Babes in the Wood. Its trails can be muddy, but the main ride is wide enough for steady walking once someone is confident outdoors.
For much of the twentieth century RAF Watton was a major airfield, and many former service homes were later sold privately. The old base has become a large residential area, and some residents still have links with the forces.
The town has a mix of older brick and flint cottages near the centre, bungalows on quiet roads and newer estates at the edges. Single-storey homes are common, which can make early recovery simpler for people who struggle with stairs.
Watton lies within NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board. People from here are usually treated at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and we provide private home rehabilitation to help them regain independence after discharge.
Buses connect Watton with Swaffham, Thetford and Norwich, but services are limited, so most people rely on cars. Getting safely in and out of a vehicle is often one of the first practical goals we work on.
In Saham Toney, the mere and its surrounding lanes offer a pleasant walking route, while Carbrooke and Griston have quiet roads that suit people wanting to extend their walks bit by bit.
The Peddars Way passes to the west near Merton and Thompson, and some keen walkers set it as a long-term target for when they are fully back on their feet.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Helping people living with persistent or complex pain improve function and quality of life.

Specialist care for women through pregnancy, after birth and beyond.
