We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Chepstow premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Chepstow is a historic town in Monmouthshire on the River Wye, just above its meeting with the Severn. Its castle, begun in 1067, stands on a limestone cliff above the river and is one of the oldest stone castles in Britain.
The High Street runs downhill from the medieval Town Gate towards the river, with shops and cafes along the way. The slope is a key consideration, so we start on the flatter parts near Beaufort Square.
The Old Wye Bridge, an iron bridge from 1816, links Chepstow with Tutshill in England. Many residents aim to walk across it again for the view back to the castle walls.
The Wye Valley Walk and Offa's Dyke Path both start or pass near Chepstow. The early sections are steep and wooded, suiting later stages of recovery.
Chepstow is covered by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Chepstow Community Hospital provides some services locally, while surgery usually takes place at the Grange University Hospital or Royal Gwent.
Chepstow Racecourse, home of the Welsh Grand National, draws big crowds. Walking around the course enclosures and stands needs stamina, which we can build towards.
Homes include period town houses with steep stairs and modern estates at Bulwark and Thornwell. We adapt exercises to your home.
Indoor work is always included for wet weather.
Chepstow Museum in Gwy House, opposite the castle car park, has level galleries and benches, which make it a gentle rainy-day outing for practising standing.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Helping people living with persistent or complex pain improve function and quality of life.

Specialist care for women through pregnancy, after birth and beyond.
