Physiotherapy Services in Dungannon
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Dungannon premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Dungannon is a market town in County Tyrone, built on a hill that was once the seat of the O'Neills, the most powerful Gaelic dynasty in Ulster. The town centre, around Market Square and Irish Street, sits at the top of the hill, so many approaches involve a climb. Today Dungannon is a busy commercial centre with a diverse population, including many families from Portugal, Timor-Leste and Eastern Europe.
Housing includes Georgian and Victorian terraces near the centre, post-war estates such as Killymeal and Ballysaggart, and many newer developments and bungalows on the edges. Some of the older town houses have tall stairs and raised doorsteps. We plan exercises around your home and the route you use to reach the shops.
Dungannon Park, with its lake and woodland paths, is the town's main green space and a natural goal for building walking. Market Square and the surrounding streets are the usual places for errands. Dungannon has no railway station, so buses to Belfast and Omagh are the main links.
Hospital care is provided by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, with Craigavon Area Hospital as the main acute site and South Tyrone Hospital in Dungannon offering local services. Community rehabilitation is arranged through the same trust. We visit independently and can work alongside your community team.
The hilltop centre means most visitors climb Scotch Street, Irish Street or Church Street to reach the Square, and the steepest stretches are a common hurdle after surgery. Coalisland, to the north-east, was built on coal and clay, while Moygashel is known for its linen mill heritage. Many families work in food processing, and long shifts on the line can leave backs, shoulders and wrists sore, which we also treat.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Helping people living with persistent or complex pain improve function and quality of life.

Specialist care for women through pregnancy, after birth and beyond.
