Physiotherapy Services in Grays
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Grays premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Grays is the largest town in Thurrock, on the north bank of the Thames estuary east of London. Its pedestrianised High Street leads down to the river, where Grays Beach Riverside Park looks out over passing ships towards the Kent shore.
The State Cinema, a grand 1930s picture palace, is the building most locals point to with pride, and the Thameside Theatre and Thurrock Museum share a home in the town centre. Lakeside shopping centre is a short trip west, so many residents have a regular walk there in mind.
The town rises gently from the river towards Little Thurrock and Blackshots, with older terraces near the centre, large post-war estates on the higher ground and plenty of new flats around the station. Narrow stairs in the terraces and lifts in the flats both feature in our planning.
Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board organises NHS services for Thurrock. Basildon University Hospital handles most surgery and emergency care for Grays, while Orsett Hospital offers some outpatient services. We arrange private home sessions once someone is back from hospital.
Grays station is on the c2c line into Fenchurch Street, and buses link the estates with the centre and Lakeside. Getting back on the train for work or family visits is a common target.
We often see people after hip fractures, strokes and spells of reduced mobility who simply want to walk to the High Street again.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.

Rehabilitation of bones, joints, muscles and ligaments following injury, surgery or degenerative change.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.
