Physiotherapy Services in Llanrwst
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Llanrwst premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Llanrwst is a market town on the River Conwy, known for the three-arched Pont Fawr bridge. On the far side, the ivy-covered Tu Hwnt i'r Bont tearoom is one of the most photographed buildings in Wales.
Pont Fawr is steeply humped, with narrow pavements. Crossing it confidently is a good goal for later in recovery, once balance on slopes is secure.
Ancaster Square, the main square, is level and has benches and shops. Short trips into town often start here as people rebuild confidence.
Gwydir Castle, a Tudor house across the river, has gardens with paths and gentle slopes. Visiting is a lovely outing once walking further feels possible.
Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan and Llandudno Hospital provide most surgical and outpatient care. We continue rehabilitation once you are home.
Houses in Llanrwst include stone terraces, older cottages and newer estates. Narrow stairs and steps into gardens are common challenges we plan around.
Trefriw, upriver, is known for its woollen mill. Its riverside paths are flatter and suit early walks for people living on that side of the valley.
Llanddoged and Eglwysbach sit on higher ground with steep lanes. Getting up and down slopes is often a key part of rehabilitation there.
Betws-y-Coed and Maenan are further along the valley. Many residents drive for shopping and appointments, so car transfers are an early priority.

Expert assessment and treatment of muscle, joint, bone and soft tissue (MSK) conditions at home.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.

Rehabilitation of bones, joints, muscles and ligaments following injury, surgery or degenerative change.
