Physiotherapy Services in Neyland
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Neyland premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Neyland is a small town on the north shore of the Daugleddau estuary in Pembrokeshire. It became important when Brunel made it the western terminus of his South Wales Railway.
Brunel Quay, beside the marina, has a statue of the engineer and level paths along the water. It is an ideal place for early outdoor walks.
The marina is busy with boats and has cafés and seats. Walking a full lap around its pontoons is a practical goal for building stamina and confidence.
The Cleddau Bridge carries the road across to Pembroke Dock. Its footway is a challenging later target for fitter walkers.
Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest provides most surgery. After discharge, we continue rehabilitation at home.
The town climbs steeply from the waterfront, with Victorian terraces on the slopes and newer estates on the hilltop. Short rest stops on the way up are planned in, then gradually reduced as your legs strengthen.
The trackbed of Brunel's old line towards Johnston is now the Brunel Trail, a traffic-free path. Its gentle gradient through woodland suits longer walks and is popular with cyclists too.
Llanstadwell, with its church right on the shore, and Hazelbeach lie to the west along the estuary, facing the refinery jetties. Honeyborough sits just north, beside the main road into town.
Llangwm, a former fishing village known for its oyster women, lies upriver on a creek. Burton and Waterston are close by, and the roads between them involve some long, winding hills.

Support to improve breathing, endurance and recovery for respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Helping people living with persistent or complex pain improve function and quality of life.

Specialist care for women through pregnancy, after birth and beyond.
