Physiotherapy Services in Pembroke Dock
We run the service from Harrow in north-west London; there is no Pembroke Dock premises to walk into. Sessions take place in your own home, and the clinician assigned to you may be travelling in from elsewhere. We can only confirm a visit once we know your full postcode and which therapists are free when you get in touch.
Pembroke Dock grew up around a Royal Navy dockyard founded in 1814 on the south shore of the Milford Haven waterway. More than two hundred ships were built here.
The town was laid out on a grid pattern, so most streets are straight and fairly flat. This makes planning walking routes simpler than in many Pembrokeshire towns.
The Gun Tower museum, a Martello-style fort, guards the old dockyard. The path along the water to reach it is level and makes a good early outing.
During the Second World War, the town was a major base for Sunderland flying boats. A heritage centre now tells that story in the old dockyard chapel.
Most surgery for local people takes place at Withybush in Haverfordwest. Once you return home, we visit you to continue strength and mobility work.
Ferries sail from the port to Rosslare in Ireland. Some clients want to travel again, and we prepare them for stairs and moving decks.
Pennar and Upper Pennar spread west from the dockyard, with terraced streets and views over the Haven. Some of the higher streets are steeper than the town centre.
Llanion, on the east side, has the old Defensible Barracks and modern housing. Footpaths there are smooth and well lit, good for evening walks.
Bush, Waterloo and Pembroke Ferry lie close to the road bridge towards Neyland. Pembroke Ferry has a small waterside pub and a quiet shoreline path.

Safe, structured recovery after surgery to restore strength, mobility and function at home.

Expert assessment and treatment of muscle, joint, bone and soft tissue (MSK) conditions at home.

Helping active people recover from sports injuries and safely return to sport and performance.
